TAYLOR SUMMER DAY CAMP
The YMCA provides summer adventures that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body while adhering to our Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Children will participate both indoors and out as experienced staff lead campers in a wide variety of activities including arts & crafts, games, sports, songs, swimming and weekly off-site field trips. Because safety is of utmost importance, we have the following: Professional staff trained in CPR/First Aid, Emergency Procedures, Child Abuse Prevention and more our ratios of staff to campers of 1:6 (ages 4-5); 1:10 (ages 6-8); 1:12 (ages 9-13) and 1:14 (ages 14-16)
TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP (Ages 4-13)
Camp Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with extended hours 7-8:30 a.m. and 4:00-6 p.m. Capacity: 84 campers per location Description: In addition to participating in all the above listed activities, we believe it is important for children of all ages to build relationships with fellow campers and staff. Campers will be placed in groups with similarly-aged children according to stated rations. Campers should bring a morning and afternoon snack. This camp will be held all weeks.

Counselors–in-Training/CIT Program (Ages 14-16)
NOTE: THIS IS A 5-DAY A WEEK CAMP
Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with extended hours 7-9:00 a.m. and 4:00-6 p.m. Capacity: 14 participants Description: The CIT program is designed as a bridge for young people between camper and counselor. It is not simply camp for older kids, nor is it a guaranteed for a job in the future. Rather it is an opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills and learn what it is like to be a counselor. CITs will be paired with a seasoned counselor and assist him/her in leading a group of campers. CITs will also have CIT-only time where they work on team building and program planning. CITs must submit a separate application (available on-line or at branch office) as well as a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, pastor, etc. CITs must attend camp for a minimum of 4 full weeks throughout the summer.

2. Complete information requested NOTE: Please ensure we have your child’s current Physical and Immunizations Form you can email, mail or fax.
3. Return packet . Final balances for each week will be due one week prior to attendance at the camp.
