2019-2020 Information

The Taylor Family YMCA Early Learning Center provides a warm and welcoming environment for children ages 3-5 years old. We incorporate Illinois Early Learning Standards into our curriculum; including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Our passionate, caring, and experienced teachers will make your child’s day a memorable one. All children must be completely toilet trained prior to attending.

The Early Learning Center will be held at the former Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 1111 Van St, Elgin, IL 60123.

At the YMCA’s After School Program, kids build self-esteem, values, and leadership skills. While you know they are growing and exploring their potential…they will think they are just having fun! We provide activities in the following curriculum areas: Homework, Health & Fitness, Character Development, Science, Service-Learning, Arts and Humanities, Literacy, and Conflict Resolution in small and large groups. Our staff is trained in YMCA of the USA school age courses along with CPR and First Aid.

School Day off Camps

School Day Off Camps are offered on days when District 300 and District 301 are off school.
