“Hello! My name is Cody Wallace and I’m a personal trainer here at our YMCA. Being a multi-sport athlete high school and playing college baseball, I learned at an early age that health and fitness was my passion. I pursued my bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Northern Illinois University and obtained my state license post-graduation. Putting my degree to use, I began working for Olympia Chiropractic and Physical Therapy as an ATC providing rehabilitative care to restore patients maximum movement and functional ability. Aside from my daily career; I’m also an IHSA certified coach and have been giving private baseball lessons since 2012. Through this I have gained a vast knowledge working with athletes of all ages to ensure peak performance in their respective sports.
The gym was quite simply the fuel to my innovative cravings which helped me to learn so much about my body and what I was capable of. Let me help you push your body to the limit and take your goals to the next level.”
“I have been in the health and wellness field since the age of 18. Watching this field evolve in so many ways it became a true passion. I became a certified group fitness instructor in 1997 and a certified personal trainer / wellness coach through American Council on Exercise & the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America in 1998.
Over the years my specialty has been training woman and many with over 50 lbs to loose. I have a certification in nutrition so along with exercise; your training will involve learning about healthy foods and nutrients needed to achieve your goals.”
